Studio Neptune is pleased to present People Wearing Hats, an exhibit of art by children ages 6-13. This collection of 39 paintings was developed over eight weeks during Studio Neptune's 2010 winter painting session. The class was conducted by Studio Neptune founder, Elyse Harrison.
Hats became an extension of the people students chose to depict, both physically and psychologically. We easily see the personalities of each young artist come through in this spirited collection, a reminder of the simple, direct way children approach artmaking.
