Gallery Neptune is pleased to bring together five stellar artists in the month of February. The exhibit will feature dramatic large scale charcoal drawings of bird nests by Carol Barsha, the energetic abstract paintings of Baltimore artist Greg Minah, a 2009 Trawick Prize finalist and 2009 Bethesda Painting Awards finalist and small scale abstractions by New York artist Willie Marlowe, many which are inspired by the artist's residency near the Murano Glass Factory in Venice. The exhibit will also feature new black and white photographs by Beatrice Hamblett, a 2010 Washington DC's Mayor's Nominee for emerging artists and the meticulous graphite on wood sculptures of Hsin-Hsi Chen, who is featured in this year's Washington Project for the Arts auction "Cream". An artists' reception will take place on February 12th, from 6-9 PM.
