Studio Neptune is pleased to present our 13th summer art program for students 6 - 11 years old. Every summer a variety of downtown Bethesda businesses are selected for a visit where we can observe their visual components, products and activities. Each week we will visit a different business and for the entire week produce art which is inspired by where we've been. Students will naturally link creativity to a wide range of activities and images that exist everyday in the city.
Our classes meet for three hours M-F and children are encouraged to bring a snack each day. Class times are either 9-12 Noon or 1-4 PM. Please note that each week is planned for specific age groups, not every week is the same. Due to the intimate environment of these classes, enrollment is limited. The program is popular and seats fill rapidly. Waiting lists are available. Registrations are non refundable unless there is someone on a waiting list who can take the seat, in which case a full refund will be made.
Registration will begin online, Monday, January 17.
Summer Art 2011 Policies
Payment is due with completed registration. Payments can be made using our secure PayPal link. You may also pay by check. Registrations may be faxed to 301-718-9645. Our mailing address is Studio Neptune, 5001 Wilson Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814. A registration form may also be e-mailed by scanning the form and sending it as an attachment to: info@studioneptune.com.
You will be notified if the class you have signed up for has already filled, otherwise please assume that your registration was processed successfully.You may request your name be put on a waiting list if the class you wanted has filled.
Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Seats can not be held without payment. Please check with the studio to guarantee that a faxed registration was received by calling 301-718-0809. Our fax number is 301-718-9645.
The studio requests that children are dropped off and picked up on time. The doors will not open more than five minutes before the start of class. Please pick up children on time at the end of class. The studio is not responsible for children who are not picked up on time.
To maintain a focused studio environment, family and friends are kindly asked to wait outside the studio during class time. You are always welcome to visit our when bringing your child to class but please note that the studio is not set up with a waiting area.
