Studio Neptune's fine art program for adults parallels the direction of our gallery by offering unusual, stimulating art classes taught by regional artists. The studio maintains an intimate atmosphere which allows for individual attention from our artist/instructors.

In January of 2007, fifteen women attended "Shoe Therapy" at Studio Neptune. This mixed media sculpture class provided a perfect vehicle to explore artistic techniques while making a bold social statement using a common accessory that means so much to so many women.
"Shoe/Hat/Purse Therapy" is offered in October and will repeat in March and May of 2009. Using actual accessories as the basis for a sculpture, students begin by concealing the original details and work to establish their own personal message by altering the shoe, hat or purse with a variety of mediums. These classes will be taught by Neptune owner, artist Elyse Harrison, who particularly enjoys working with adults who claim that they "can't draw a straight line".
